I bet , each of us , as an active and aware investor , try to know about the closing of US Market in the night and how the Asian Markets are doing in the morning , to get the clues for our day in the market. It?s very satisfying when I hear from even ?not so educated investor? about the European market opening in afternoon. Picture of even small town broking terminals and investors are changing rapidly. Thanks to the media and corporate broking houses who started educating investors. But very few of them really understand the details of global market impact on them. They just make a view of our market in the morning after seeing the global cues , but how many of them understand the impact of crude oil price movement , Fed cutting rates or not cutting rates , US job data , Dollar-Rupee fluctuation , Dollar-yen movements etc etc . In my view our own investors are more vulnerable to losses than their US counterparts, because they are their own investment advisors. The Direct Investment pattern in India by the small investor category is extremely dangerous. They are the bunch of people who rarely make big bucks out of our market.
