Make sure the presentations you upload are not
1. are not read only
2. password protected or corrupt. To test if they are corrupt,
a. Open the presentation in MS-PowerPoint.
b. Go to File Menu and then 'Save as web page'.
c. If the file gets successfully saved as web page, your PowerPoint is fine and if MS-PowerPoint crashes it means the file is corrupt.
