Is it possible to have one moderator and transfer the presentation over to another speaker?
We allow only one presenter (the speaker) and multiple attendees in the session. The presenter acts as the moderator. If you need multiple presenters in your session, the other speakers can login as attendees. In the session, transfer control to them similar to the presenter.

Can I brand our account's whiteboard with our logo?
Branding of the virtual classroom with your logo is now available with our premium service.

How do I access my content in the virtual classroom?

In the virtual classroom, go to Content tab. Then click on 'Load Content' button to access your content.
- Content manager opens up with two folders 'Public Content' and 'Your Content' in the left side pane.
- Expand 'Your Content' folder. All your uploaded content is available under this folder.

What are transfer control options in an online session?
Transfer Control options let the presenter of the session control the attendees' privileges. The presenter can withdraw or restore privileges to the attendees anytime. Privileges of attendees include the right to say or ask something, to load content or to use drawing and writing tools on the whiteboard.

What is 'Raise Hand' option?
Raise Hand option enables attendees to ask for the privileges to the presenter. If attendees don't have a privilege or the privileges have been withdrawn, then they can click on 'Raise Hand' icon. This tells the presenter that the attendee wants to ask something.

How do I act on a 'Raised Hand' request?
As a presenter, you may accept or reject the raised hand request made by the attendee. To grant privileges:
- In the Attendees List window, click (use left mouse button) on the name of the attendee.
- A context sensitive menu containing Transfer control option pops up.

Click 'Transfer Control' option.

Privilege assignment confers audio (conversing), annotation and file (presentations, document and image) upload rights on the attendee. An appropriate icon appears besides the name of the attendee in the attendees' list window.

Similarly you can also assign video privileges to your attendees.

Does it work on all platforms - Mac, Windows, Linux, etc?
WiZiQ's virtual classroom is multi-platform and multi-browser compatible. It has been tested for major operating systems like Microsoft windows (XP, Vista, Server), Linux, Mac; and web browsers like Internet Explorer 6 and above, Mozila, Mozila Firefox, Opera 8 and above, Netscape, and Safari.

When I try a virtual session on WiZiQ, I can "calibrate" my microphone, but how can I test my webcam without logging into a session?
Webcam testing comes only if you have scheduled a video session. Choose 'Audio and Video' option while scheduling the session.

How do I check to see if my camera and mic are working properly with WiZiQ?
You can check your camera and mic before you enter the session and also after you are logged in. Before you enter any session you can test your devices, and during the session you can test your devices in Settings.

Is it possible to enter Chinese characters in the virtual classroom? And if so, how is this accomplished?
You need to select Chinese as the language and Chinese keyboard in the language settings of your system.

How and where to adjust WiZiQ audio input level?
To adjust audio input you may use Test Devices link (available before you login to the session) or Settings (in the session). You may uncheck the auto adjust field and can then adjust the audio input level.

What do I need to do to attach the device that is working on my computer?
In the Test Devices or Settings, select the mic and webcam attached to your system.

How do I extend the length of my session while I am engaged within the session?
Any session on WiZiQ can be extended by 15 minutes only. Once it has been extended it can not be extended further. If you often need to extend your session, you may create your session for a longer duration. This way you will always have the option to end the session before its set duration.

Is there a way to erase all the things drawn free hand at once?
To erase all the objects drawn with the pencil, click on the selection tool (first tool in the toolbox on the left). Click and drag the mouse to select all the objects on the whiteboard. Press delete button (keyboard) to delete the objects in a single go.

I couldn't find a way to copy and paste text?
Copy the text. Click on the 'Text' tool. Click on the whiteboard and use ctrl + V to paste the text in this text box.

When we uploaded a PowerPoint in Hebrew the text was not readable?
We don't support languages that work from right to left. We suggest you to use the images in the presentation instead of text. Build your presentation as such. Take the print screen of the slides one by one and paste these images in the PowerPoint. Then upload this PowerPoint in the virtual classroom.

Can participants also upload files to the session or only the teacher?
Yes, participants too can upload files in the session only after teacher transfers control to them to do so. By default, attendees do not have rights to speak, use whiteboard tools or upload files. To transfer such control, in the attendee list, click on the name of the attendee and transfer control.

Is there a limit of the number and size of the files that can be uploaded in sessions?
You can upload any number of files in the lesson/session. The individual size of a presentation/swf/word document/excel spreadsheet must be less than 10mb, and pdf must be less than 3mb.

Is the availability of conferencing--or the transmission speeds dependent on the number of users on your system?
No, it does not depend. We have got multiple servers for load balancing. So the frequency of the sessions at any time does not affect the availability or speed of any other session going on at that time.

Do I need to have port 80 assigned while accessing virtual classroom?
For a better experience in the virtual classroom we recommend TCP 1935 port open. If this port is blocked you still can connect by Port 80 that's by default open on any system with web browsing enabled.

Do the files I share in the session save in WiZiQ website or get deleted as the session ends? By website do we mean recording? If so then files uploaded from Public Content are available.
When you upload a ppt in the session using Upload from Desktop, the files are not saved in WiZiQ. These files remain sharable for that session only and to the extent you actually show or share in the session.
