Yes, session participants using different platforms can comfortably hold a hassle-free session.

What kind of Internet connection do I need to use to hold a session on WiZiQ?
You can use any type of Internet connection. WiZiQ's virtual classroom works fine on any type of Internet connection. However, we recommend a broadband Internet connection for a better experience.

I can not hear one of my learners' voices during the session. What's wrong?
If you are finding a problem in listening to only one of your attendees' voice and fine for the rest of them then the microphone of this attendee is not working fine. To solve the problem, suggest your attendee to perform microphone test and make sure that he/she has selected the proper microphone device in the microphone test; uncheck the 'reduce echo' checkbox and try with increased microphone volume.

I don't hear anything!
If you are unable to hear the voice during the session, then your speakers are not working properly. Perform 'Speaker Test' to check their working.

My attendees can not hear my voice?
If your attendees are unable to hear your voice during the session, then your microphone is not working properly. Perform 'Microphone Test' to check its working. Make sure that microphone is connected to your system. In 'Test Microphone' select the proper microphone device; uncheck the Auto Adjust' checkbox and try with increased microphone volume.

I am not at all audible to one of my attendees during the session?
If one of your attendees is finding a problem in listening to your voice then the headset or speakers being used by this attendee are not working fine. To solve the problem, suggest your attendee to perform 'Speaker test' and make sure that the speakers are connected to the system.

What all tools/equipments do I need to hold a session?
You need a good quality headset to conduct a session.

I am connected to the Internet with a dial-up modem. Can I hold a session on WiZiQ?
WiZiQ's virtual classroom works fine on any type of Internet connection even on a dial-up. However,broadband is recommended for a better experience.

What kind of headset should I use for my sessions?
You can use any type of headset for your sessions. To enjoy a very good sound quality you can preferably use headsets that connect via USB, they are typically a bit more expensive.
Also make sure that the headset has a microphone. In place of a headset you can also plug in speakers and microphone separately to your system.

How do I improve the sound quality?
To have better sound quality,
a) Use a good quality headset.
b) Make sure that the audio quality is set to medium levels in 'Test Microphone'.
c) Keep your microphone at a distance of at least 4 cm from your mouth.

One of my attendees can partially hear my voice?
If your voice is partially audible or is heard intermittently to your attendees then the bandwidth of your Internet connection is lower than required. Try with audio quality "Low" in Test Microphone.

If the voice of one of your attendees is partially audible or is heard intermittently to you then the bandwidth of his Internet connection is lower than required. Suggest him to reset the audio quality to "Low" in Test Microphone.
