Nishikanth has been a GIS Instructor and workplace trainer since 2006, with an extensive background in Geospatial technology training and preparing course resources. He has been specialized in teaching ESRI Products including Desktop GIS, Server environment and Databases, also ex-perienced in educating Open source GIS Suite. He brings a wealth of teaching skills and software implementation ex-perience to the classroom.

Nishikanth constantly seeks for new ways to trigger stu-dent’s interest by providing more importance towards the practical sessions. He always implements real time exam-ple in his teaching to ensure the student have a better un-derstanding of Geospatial Technology. He has exceptional capability to convey GIS information to technical publics and has got strong ability to resolve problems using the GIS Collection of tools. His teaching style includes concept anal-ysis and simplification into comprehensible and fun knowledge for his fellow students

His training experiences range from individuals to small companies to large, class room training to client side train-ings. He handles desktop environment including Quantum GIS, Arcinfo and MapInfo software’s, and also expertise in handling Server and Database environment ranging from basic to advance level. Geoserver, PostGIS, PostgreSQL, ArcGIS Server are also the major areas that he has fo-cussed on training.
