Problem with only audio class

Hi Alfonso,
1) Please ask your students to click "Allow" option in window that opens up at student end when you transfer them audio/video controls. If they deny then the audio/video devices on students end will be disabled.
2) Also ask your student to check the web camera compatibility with flash player here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_16453&sliceId=1
3) The audio and video class requires more internet bandwidth than audio class. In this class you had high latency which would have resulted in lag/delay in audio and video. In case you experience latency you switch to low audio quality and take back audio/video controls from some of the attendees.

Hi Dave,
You can enable web sharing by selecting the option "Allow Web Sharing" from more settings while scheduling the class.
You can also watch presentation on how to enable web sharing inside virtual classroom here: http://www.wiziq.com/tutorial/33310-WiZiQ-How-to-Use-Web-Sharing-in-Virtual-Classroom
Thanks Sid

Just curious how do we enable the websharing. Just can't wait to use the screen sharing aspect.

When I view the page for virtual classroom at:
http://www.wiziq.com/Virtual_Classroom.aspx
I see there is an entry: Desktop & Screen Sharing (New) - and I wonder where I can find this new feature in the classroom tools.
Thanks Marian

two sorts of recording, why is this?
Marian

I tried my first private class today and when I play back the recording, I see it's divided into individual slides for 2:00 Minutes each. But when I watch other recordings from other classes, it's a continuous recording. Why is the recording different and how can I switch it to the continuous style?
TIA

I rejoiced too soon- this worked in allowing the schedule class dialog to display the correct time- but still gave me an error. I could schedule a class for the following day- is there some time allotment for how soon you can schedule?

FINALLY!!!! For anyone this will help. When changing the time in your moodle user profile you must use the UTC time for Wiziq to pick it up correctly. Therefore, my attempts to use EDT (or anything else) resulted in error. Using UTC-5 worked.
