Hi,
I have Installed the Wiziq plugin in my moodle. ( on Moodle 1.9.9 )
It was working fine in localhost and also i have checked Class schedule and classes everything. Its working perfect in localhost.
I have installed in server, the installation is completed successfully and also the database executed successfully. But when i select the wiziq Activity in modules as well as blocks, i get " XML file is not read " error.
I checked in Wiziq forum also i sent the mail to support@wiziq.com. But i haven't get any solutions for this issue. Also i can't get any solution for this is wiziq forum too.
How do i fix this?
Please help me anyone in this issue.

Change in you php.ini
allow_url_fopen = Off
to
allow_url_fopen =On
and restart apache

I have the same problem and I'm using a shared hosting so I don't have acess to allow_url_fopen = Off
or php.ini and I can't restart apache server so what to do?

I have the same problem with Moodle 2.0.1. I'm afraid I am on shared hosting, so I have no access to php.ini.
Is there another solution for this?

Thanks for much for the support, i have an error coming up on my moodle site.the error is : XML file is not read.i try the solution
Change in you php.ini
allow_url_fopen = Off
to
allow_url_fopen =On
and it is works.Thank you so much.

Is "Wiziq a fraud???
Hello everyone,
I am having problems to have Wiziq make me the corresponding payments for my courses. They used to pay the courses 4 or 5 days after student enrollment. With my latest students enrolled in the first week of March I am having problems to have Wiziq pay me. Ankit Dua, support manager told me at first that my payment for enrollments corresponding at first week were to be expected for March 15th, Days later, after my claim, he wrote saying that those payments were moved to March 31st. Today I received his last letter saying that my payment was to be expected for next week. I am becoming suspicios, Is Wiziq a fraud???' Any suggestions for having my payment finally made effective?
I appreciate your help and your advice

Follow the steps
1 Check the internet connectivity first.
2 Go Wiziq Config file , check the configuration values .
3 allow_url_fopen = Off
to
allow_url_fopen =On

I have the same problem here and whatever I tried how I attempted the error still exists ,even I rebooted my machine ,what else can I do????

the error is: XML file is not readXML file is not read wwXML file is not readXML file is not read ==> what is wwxml?? from where in the code??? is it in install.xml??
