Hi, I am a new user so this might be kind of obvious, but i wonder which would be the best way for hand writing in the white board, I mean something like an optical pen or digitalizing tablet because i´m not really comfortable moving the freehand tool with the mouse. I intend to use it to make quick math notations. Any tips, experiences? Thanks. PD: nice initiative (by the way)

You can use digital pen or mouse pen in the Virtual Classroom. Many of our users have been successfully using them and find them easier instead of using mouse and keyboard. The Virtual Classroom works fine on tablet PCs as well.

I would really appreciate if someone who is actually using one of those things commented his/her experience, with particular any brand of model. So far I´m thinking of buying this one http://www.amazon.com/I-Pen-Digital-Writer-Optical-Device/dp/B0000AC88K but I´m not really sure. Thank you!

Hi, I would recommend the Pen Tablet (there are many companies viz. iBall). I have used both, the digipen (the one you have mentioned) and pen tablet but found pen tablet as far better for a teacher to use in Virtual Classroom. Thanks

I´ll go for the tablet then. Anyway I´m looking around and there is an insanely wide range of options (from 60€ to 600 €). So: 1. I´m assuming the most basic ones should be ok, am I right? 2. Do you use it to draw directly in the classroom or do you copy-paste? 3. Any particular specs I should be looking for? Thank you very much for your reply.

I use the Wacom Bamboo Writing Table and absolutely love it. Simple to install and a piece of cake to use in place of a mouse.

@ Alfonso, 1. The basic one would be good enough. 2. I do use it directly on the Virtual Classroom and it is very much user friendly. 3. You can go for iBall company's 6'X8' Pentablet. Thanks
