We tried this again yesterday, no network issues, and my boss is impressed with the basic layout and funcionality. But what bugs us is that when screensharing you lose the video and chat boxes, unless you have them on top of the screenshare. So is there a way to arrange the screenshare, chat and video to all be visible at once without being one on top of the other?

Yes , David when you use screen sharing the chat box goes to left hand corner . You can bring this back to its original place by clicking the arrow on top of the chat box.

Thanks for replying Satish, but when I click the arrow you mention ('Pop in') it just kills off the window. Same for both the video stream and chat and people boxes.
I've attached a screenshot of how it looks (screensharing 1 window) when I've clicked the arrow on the chat window, people window AND video stream one - notice their grey buttons are all gone from below the screenshare view.

I had the same problem. I tried to attach the chat box to the side with the pop in button and it just disappeared. I'm using Firefox, if that helps in diagnosing the problem.

Vicki - turns out the test moodles don't use the latest version of Virtual Classroom system. I had a demo of this from one of the tech guys, and it docks screen sharing neatly where whiteboard part is. You can get a 30 day free trial, which will be using to evaluate it in a live environment in a few weeks time.
