GUIDE TO THE CARE AND USE OF EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS
Ernest D. Olfert, Brenda M. Cross, A. Ann McWilliam; Leopoldo Estol;Raymond Dugas
CCPA, Manual vol. 1 (2nda edición) 1998, The Canadian Council for the Protection of Animals (CCPA) was established in 1968 to monitor the care and use of experimental animals in Canada. It is an autonomous, independent and non-legislative. Work with the scientific community and animal welfare groups to achieve optimum levels in the animal care and ensure the responsible use of animals through programs, counseling and education.
The CCPA makes evaluations based on their own guidelines. This manual, translated into Spanish for the first time, sets out general principles for the care and use of animals.
