About Emily Shorey

I have been involved in both formal and informal teaching/tutoring for the past eight years. Because much of my educational and professional background is in psychology/social work, I have experience providing educational support and advocacy for children with both learning and mental health needs. I have been teaching AP Psychology since 2009. Psychology is a fascinating and fun subject, both to teach and to learn. It is exciting to see students gain new insights into themselves, other people, and the world. It is not too early to sign up for my year-long AP Psychology class beginning in September, 2012. Please see my website listed on the side for more information about my classes.
