Business Object XI R2 : Business Object XI R2 Business Object is the part of BI(Business Intelligence), and BI is not a technology to implement and need maintenance, this is the way of exploring data to improve performance, whether to drive profitability or to manage costs.
Business Object XI R2 : Business Object XI R2 This is tool to Implement Business intelligence lifecycle. BO XI R2, we're able to provide a superior product at a lower delivery cost. Business Objects XI is a complete suite of performance management, information management, reporting, and query and analysis tools built on Business Objects Enterprise XI, our BI platform.
Features Of BO : Features Of BO You can scheduled to refresh report regular basis, hourly, weekly, monthly, yearly or specific day of month. U can scheduled using the event (like if u want to run second report, when the first one finished). U can check the history & status of scheduled doc. Save File in different format like Excel, PDF etc. You can put more logic within one report. You can drill report in different ways.
Slide4 : U can generate report tabular , Chart, Crosstab, Form, Master/Detail. U can apply break, filter, calculation (sum, count, avg, max, min, percentage) U can write ur Query and use all SQL operator, functions. U can write won formula (BO provide more won function ).
Slide5 : BO is much more flexible, it provides a number of ways to incorporate structured or unstructured external data. If data comes from excel or PDF document, it can be store in the repository. Microcube architecture allows user merge corporate data with external data and display via one report or chart. Live office allows to store external data in a spreadsheet and u can use in Web Intelligence and Crystal Report Document.

InfoView : InfoView InfoView consists of three main panels. The Header Panel (main menu like tool bar). Navigation Panel (locate individual document through folder like explore) Workspace panel( changed content depending on selection)
Reporting And Analysis : Reporting And Analysis InfoView It allows to interact with the BO content and applications. To log in to InfoView , only need to browser and site address or URL. When you log in to Info View, the server first validate user ID and Password.
