Politically, laws were enacted to allow citizens who normally didn’t have a voice to be heard. Intellectually, the educational system was reformed to give more power and knowledge to the common man. Culturally, America was developing into a music, sports, and entertainment powerhouse. Economically, advertising campaigns were generating thousands of new consumers.
