I am the new Educational Technology Coordinator for the Lower Yukon School District in Mountain Village, Alaska. I hold a Masters in Education with emphasis on Instructional Technology and a Bachelors in Information Technology with emphasis on Computer Networking.

I believe that every educator should focus on the development of the 'whole' learner by fostering independence, accountability, responsibility and encouraging critical-thinking. I acknowledge that the emergent learner is unique and recognize that to provide open access to knowledge, encourage accountability and facilitate progressive learning, teaching should be conducted from a student-centered perspective.

I am currently in the dissertation phase of my doctoral degree in Education with emphasis on Instructional Design for Online Learning and credit my passion for education to my early educators back in the Caribbean island of Montserrat, West Indies.
