2 Use a real or virtual Android device and perform the set of operations told. We can also use a web API or refer to some website to experience the feel of android.
3 Describing Android stack and related dependencies, changes along with versions of Android, and future expectations.
4 One hour objective test on topics, (the objective test must be announced at very first so the students will pay more attention)
5 Building block level training for the student for Object Oriented Programming. Basics of Java, xml and SQLite. Android SDK and suggest downloading the required tools for Android development.

 

Conclusion and announcement of the activities for the next day. The student needs to have the required software on his system the next day to develop an android application.

1 Basics of OOPS revised, with focus on Java Technology. Discussing the most suitable technologies for mobile software development.
2 The students will need to create a simple Java application that works on a desktop. The student will be given step by step assistance while developing the application.
3 Discussing the evolution of mobile technology and the need for more capable, efficient, high function and reliable mobile applications.
4 Learning to optimize the Java application to work on Android OS. Redesigning the interface, screen size optimization and finally packaging the application.
5 Running the newly made mobile application on a virtual device or an emulator.

1 Discussing seamless possibilities with Android. Utilization of exclusive mobile input methods, gyroscope, accelerometer, multi-touch compared to conventional desktop input events. References of popular android applications and games.
2 Discussing the need for global exposure for your application. Awareness about the digital IPR (intellectual property rights). Discussing the Power of social media with the students, and the need of Branding and patenting the software. Issues in digital marketing with potential advantages and risks.
3 The student will be signing the app with a Google account and publishing to Google Play, or any open hosting website, (blogger preferred , because the student already has a Google account) , to get the global exposure for the application.
4 The student has to create a Facebook page , and a twitter account exclusively for his application and needs to get 30 likes/followers for his app.
5 Ending session, student feedback, and certificate of merit.
