About the Instructor

Jason Becker

Jason Becker holds a great experience teaching within the academic fields of sports and communication as he has taught now for over six years at the community college and university levels. He has taught Introduction to Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, Newswriting and Editing, Introduction to Sport Management, Sport Marketing, Sport Promotion, Sports Journalism and Public Relations and Media in Sport.

 

Having interned at ESPN, he has gathered the necessary tools and experience within the field of sport communication to successfully teach his students of what the field is really like. Also, he coaches high school boys’ basketball and is currently heading up a sport studies program for students at the college level.
