The Hawaiian Language 101 online course is for anyone interested in learning, practicing, speaking or brushing up on their Hawaiian language/'Ōlelo Hawai'i.

 

The use of music, chanting and art will used to teach the Hawaiian Language. Here is the teacher's message:

Heitiare “Kawehi” Kammerer is a Hawaiian Language Immersion teacher at Hau'ula Elementary certified and licensed to teach Elementary K-6. She holds a B.A. in Art 2 Dimensional and a Minor in Hawaiian Studies from Brigham Young University of Hawai'i. She has a great love for the Hawaiian language, culture, art and music. Heitiare wants to share is knowledge in efforts to help to preserve and perpetuate the Hawaiian language and culture.
