Course Objective

The objective of the free online Moodlemoot conference is to connect educators for learning. The conference is run by Educators for educators around the globe. Participants will learn about Moodle and technology enhanced learning.

Course Description

MoodleMoot 2012 (MMVC12) live online conference is a free annual event. The conference will take place from August 17-19, 2012 online via WizIQ Virtual Classroom. You are invited to join the sessions and invite your friends and colleagues. The presentations will be conducted in both English and Spanish on WizIQ Education Online.

Recordings of the Event
You are invited to enroll in the live classes before the sessions to ensure that you get the video recordings. After the event (August 20, 2012), you may view the lecture sessions and recordings by joining the MMVC12 course on WizIQ and learn at your own pace.

About the Instructor

IT4ALL is a non-profit network of volunteers that provides free professional development courses on how to integrate e-learning technology into full and blended online learning (BOL) courses and workshops using Moodle and WizIQ. Workshops on Moodle for Teachers, WebQuests, TESOL, ESOL, Integrating Technology, Web 2.0 tools, Math, English, Spanish and other subjects. The staff at IT4ALL are all volunteers who are passionate about instruction and learning and making a difference in the world of online education. The network was founded by Dr. Nellie Deutsch in 2006. IT4ALL includes a team of volunteers who are passionate about instruction and learning and promoting free e-learning around the world. The leading team at IT4ALL are: Dr. Ludmila Smirnova (professor at St. Mary's College in New York State, writer, experienced presenter and online facilitator), Dr. Nellie Deutsch (a Canadian instructional designer and curriculum development leader, who has been teaching English and integrating technology into her classes, and presenting, researching, writing, and providing consultation on Moodle for teachers. WebQuests, blended learning, and e-portfolios), Dariem Garcés (Moodle Developer, creator of the WebQuest plugin for Moodle, and expert in installing virtual learning environments), and other educators & technology experts volunteer their time and make up Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning (IT4ALL).
