Course Description

Learn the major literary movements in American Literature from its origins to the present!

Literature of any time period can be best understood by understanding political realities of that period. And that is why, this online course makes you familiar with the changes that occurred in the US that influenced its literature. This course also helps you understand the time period when Americans were “obsessed” with establishing their own identity as separate and distinct from that of Europe.
