Primary objective of this course:
This specialized course has been designed to suit a site foreman/agent up to a site manager and has a strong focus on safety and legal compliance improvement. The course has been developed from a practical viewpoint, from the experience of the writer, in consultation with experienced Legal, Quality, and Project Managers.
Why it is important to go by OSHA regulations?
The legal aspects of constructing a building are often overlooked and underestimated. Thus many a times, project managers and engineers find themselves in court for liability suits due to injuries or even serious charges like manslaughter due to negligence; not following procedures and not adhering to OSHA regulations. Preparing and using the correct legal documentation is also not always understood and mistakes in contracts can lead to loss of money and even prolonged and legal battles.

About the instructor:
Jonathan Pangas has spent the past fifteen years gaining experience in many aspects of Construction, including the directing, coordinating, and budgeting of a wide variety of construction projects ; the supervision of an entire project or stages of different projects at the same time.
At present he is a self-employed professional independent advisor in the legal fields; including Consumer Protection Act; Building Construction; Building Contracts, Mediation, Labour Law cases and business contracts.
Jonathan has received training and experience on various projects at various stages and types, for example:
- Site preparation, clearing and excavation of the land, installing sewage systems, landscaping and Residential cluster and sectional title Developments including but not limited to rezoning township establishments registering and managing section 21
