Opportunity for Registered Nurses and Physicians in the US, India, Philippines, and other countries, who would like to become trained as Certified RN-Auditors
An RN Auditor is a registered nurse who has completed a program to become certified in medical or clinical coding. RNs who are interested in combining their nursing career with coding must first complete a medical coding program, followed by certification from either the American Health Information Management Association or the American Academy of Professional Coders. This Course is designed for licensed clinical personnel like Registered Nurses and Physicians only!
According to the American Association of Professional Coders, Certified medical coders experienced a 1.5 increase in wages between 2009 and 2010, whereas coders without certification experienced a 1.2 increase.
Hence, there is a clear benefit of becoming a certified medical coder. The certification also opens the door for medical coders to pursue more challenging positions and faster promotions.
This course consists of 5 Recorded Classes which will be followed by one Final Examination which will enable you to receive a Certificate of Completion. The certificate includes your continuing education credit for your nursing license.
Most courses available on RN Auditors are for non-clinical personnel – and you will need to take A&P, medical terminology, etc, even though you are a licensed Nurse! Don't let huge student loans get the best of you. Enroll in this RN-Auditor online course instead and save vast amounts of money.
