The ACT is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions. It is the most widely used college entrance exam in the United States. Most high schools now recommend that students take both the ACT and the SAT exams to maximize their chances of getting into a college of their choice.

About course instructor:
Dr. Angie Record completed her Ph.D. from University of Illinois : Urbana, Institute of Communications Research in 2003. Previously she completed her M.A. from Department of Media Arts, The University of Arizona in 1993. Her experience includes decades of teaching college courses and instructing students in test preparation. She helps students with standardized tests like ACT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, SSAT and also helps them with college selection and application; financial aid and scholarships; writing samples; and resumes. She lives in Arizona, United States.
