About the online course provider:
Imam John 'Eesa' Starling runs the Al Hikmah Institute in New Jersey, United States. Imam John, an American convert and graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah, was born and raised in North Carolina. He attended NC State University and graduated with a BS in Business Management. Imam John went on to further his education at the Islamic University of Madinah where he received an Associate’s Degree in the Arabic language and shortly thereafter graduated from the University’s College of Islamic Theology and Mission. Since his graduation, John has become active in inviting to Islam in America; teaching, preaching and publishing various works, both written and audio. He worked as an instructor and curriculum developer at the Foundation for Knowledge and Development, the largest Arabic and Islamic studies institute in New York, is a founder and teacher of Al-Hikmah Institute, is currently an Arabic instructor at the Islamic Academy of Burlington County and now lives in Cherry Hill where he serves as the full-time Imam and Director of the GCLEA’s religious services and programs.
