C++ is one of the world’s most popular programming languages. It is used for diverse applications - graphics, artificial intelligence, robotics and operating systems. It is often the first language introduced to young adults at school or college. Unfortunately, it is taught by teachers and not programmers. Hence, most students don’t appreciate the beauty of programming and this beautiful and powerful language. Now, you can correct that with this course. If you are a student with C++ in your course syllabus, this course would help you learn the basics of programming as well as usage of C++ for building applications. The cases and examples used in this course wil mirror real life examples, making it very easy to relate for all kinds of audiences. Object oriented programming languages and their features:
- Introduction to C++ .
- Classes and Constructors.
- Member functions and variable Types.
- Inheritance in C++ with a practical example citing access specifiers, scope resolution operator etc. (Online class)
- Polymorphism and encapsulation with practical reference to real world objects. (Online Class).
- Friend and Abstract Classes.
- File handling in C++ using streams and objects.
- Implementation of concepts using a application keeping track of inventory/sales /Courses. (Online class)
- 2 more online classes for query handling and revision.
About the instructor:
Jyoti is a freelancer corporate professional trainer in software development for IT professionals. She has worked as a Senior Faculty member in National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) in Maharashtra for four years. Jyoti has taken professional batches of students for various technologies like VB, Visual C++, Java, RDBMSs, COM, DCOM, XML, WAP , .net etc. She has also worked as a programmer with Geodesic, a leading Mumbai based company, for a product called Mundu Messenger using VC++ with COM and STL. Having a strong passion for teaching, Jyoti is now exploring online teaching. Jyoti holds a B.Com degree and a degree in Software Engineering from National Institute of Information Technology, India. Jyoti also holds certification in MCPS for VC++ 4.0 and MCPS for WinNT. She has been awarded as Best faculty member twice by NIIT. Jyoti is currently based in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
