This in an intermediate course for those who already possess English speaking, writing, reading, grammar skills but need to refresh, review and improve upon them.

This course will be conducted in an interactive and fun filled learning environment with a teacher who understand adult education. The teacher will work and study with adult students and teach with the idea that every person is unique and learns differently. This course isn’t merely based on lectures. Instead, this is an interactive course where music and other interesting techniques will be used to enhance your learning experience. Three main learning styles will be used in this course: visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), tactile (doing). Students need to hear and see words and interact with a person born into that speaking culture to better understand English as a whole. Students who take this course are never put on the spot or made to feel less if they are unfamiliar with a word or definition.

The course also includes writing, editing and reading assignments!

About the instructor:

Kim Bresnahan has got 20 years’ experience in teaching English language and 5 years’ experience in teaching ESL. Kim has also done private tutoring for ESL and adult literacy. Kim Bresnahan was the coordinator and instructor for a Literacy/GED/ESL program for several years. She holds a teaching degree in English Honors and Biology.
