The course deals with usual examples with unusual interpretation.Potential energy is explained using the motion of a moving lift.Velocity of a falling body is calculatd using conservation of energy.In the next step non-conservative forces like friction is brought into picture.The concept is futher extended to spring system . Interpretation of acceleration-time graph and solving the differential equation of motion leads the discussion towards the topic of simple harmonic motion.
