The course begins with the topic ‘tension in strings’, moves onto mass on an inclined plane, friction and then pulleys. The treatment is unique because this sequence is not usually followed in text books. The difficulty level of the numerical examples increases gradually and thus do not burden the minds of the students. The “Physics” behind each mathematical step is explained which makes it more intresting. For example for combination of strings the reason why one of them will experience more tension than the other is pointed out. The videos should be watched in sequence because the content maintains a continuity.
