Report from Institute of Research and Evaluation Dr. Jones developed the current Leadership and Resiliency Approach: <br/> Leadership and Resiliency programs had multiple favorable changes ( 9 for Leadership and Resiliency) and no unfavorable changes. These results obviously stand out from the results for the other programs (particularly the broad success of Leadership and Resiliency including behavioral improvements in alcohol use and drunkenness) and therefore it would be appropriate to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of these two programs with the implementation communities with an eye towards expanding this success in these communities and possible replication in other areas of the state.

Dr. Jones assisted in the Reentry Program to assist high risk and chronically offending Juveniles who were returning to the community from corrections placement. "the Nevada Youth parole bureau could not have done this without the unwavering support, strong advocacy, collaboration and participation of dedicated partners like you.

Dr. Alonzo M. Jones created the curriculum for the Las Vegas Batteries Included program and was also the chief instructor and trainer of instructors. Batteries included, sponsored by the city of Las Vegas, Nevada Partners and the Clark County school District, offers a series of programs to improve high school and college graduation rates to cultivate professional young leaders in our community. The Program received Outstanding Achievement in Local Government Innovation Award.

Dr. Alonzo M. Jones was selected to present the successful "Public Collaborations" of the Southern Nevada Community Gang Task Force at the 12th Annual Transforming Local Governments Conference in Dayton, Ohio. His selection to be a presenter at the innovations Group conference was one of the highest honors bestowe3d on community and public servants across the country.

Citizen of Distinction for creating science based youth programs that help youth develop academically, socially, emotionally and through self control. Moreover, Jones was one of the first researchers to suggest and study PTSD impact adolescent behavior. He was given Congressional, Senatorial and State recognition for his work.
