About Anne Petersen

I am a Canadian tutor, and I have always loved math! I believe that every child can be successful when they are working in a supportive environment at a pace that is right for them. I have spent the last fifteen years educating children, and during that time I have observed the benefits of personalized, one-on-one math instruction. With the improvements in computer technology in recent years, online classrooms have matured to the point where they actually aid in the presentation of material, instead of getting in the way. Because I believe that an online classroom is one of the most effective and convenient ways of receiving math instruction, I have established Open Door Math to share this service with students across the continent and around the world.
