Kampala University has its main campus at Ggaba, a southeastern suburb of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. The coordinates of the main campus are:00 15 38N, 32 38 02E. KU's second campus is located in another Kampala suburb of Mutundwe, southwest of the central business district. KU's third campus is located in the town of Masaka, 80 miles (130 km) southwest of Kampala on the highway to Mbarara. The University's fourth campus is located in Jinja (near the source of River Nile)and the last campus is at Kitengela, Kenya 20 miles (32 km) southeast of the central business district of Nairobi.

The Graduate School is also located at Mutundwe - 3km off Kampala Masaka.
