About Dr. Victor Raymond

I am an experienced educator with over 10 years business experience at the most senior management levels, 10 years direct experience in strategic marketing, and 10 years teaching and practical experience in business and information technology.

My business background includes experience as a senior bank executive and Board member in both domestic and international arenas. This knowledge permits me to deliver highly relevant business and marketing course content to both on ground and online learners. My IT experience and CIS degree have enabled me to successfully conceptualize, develop, deploy, and manage the Web and e-commerce presence for the largest community college in the US.

My Doctorate in International Business adopted a multi-disciplinary approach to focus on place-based marketing strategies in the domestic and global context. The research assessed market forces driving consumer acceptance of resource based products and place-based marketing strategies.

I have won several national teaching awards, and using a virtual platform, have trained facilitators in online, learner-centered instruction.
